About Dr. Rawad Samarani
Samarani Dental Clinic’s story began in 1999, a year after Dr. Rawad Samarani graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. In 2002, he graduated in Periodontology (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures) from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. In 2013, he completed his Master of Research.
Since 2002, Dr. Samarani has been an integral part of the Periodontology Department at Saint Joseph University, where he serves as a senior lecturer and clinical instructor. In 2019, he took on the role of director for the Advanced Implant Surgery Diploma program.
He has made significant contributions to the field, publishing 17 papers in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Notably, he authored a textbook chapter titled “Revisiting Guided Bone Regeneration in the Esthetic Zone,” published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2019. Additionally, Dr. Samarani is a proud member of the implant council at the British Academy of Restorative and Implant Dentistry.
As a sought-after lecturer, he conducts courses on guided bone regeneration, full-arch implant rehabilitation, and immediate implantation in esthetic zones, having trained hundreds of dentists worldwide.

Dr. Rawad Samarani graduated as Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998, and in 2002 he graduated in Periodontology (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures) from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. In 2013, he obtained from the same university a Master of Research.
Dr. Dany Noujeim, DDS, DES
Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry
Dr. Dany Noujeim graduated in 1995 as a Doctor in Dental Surgery. After experiencing general dentistry, he pursued a “Mastère” program in Prosthodontics at the Saint-Joseph University where he graduated with distinction in 2009. The subject of his thesis was on bonding of post and core restorations.
Dr. Joseph Ghosh, DDS, CES
Endodontics
Dr. Joseph Ghauch earned his Doctor in Dental Surgery degree in 1998 from the Saint-Joseph University in Beirut. In 2002, and from the same university, he earned his specialty degree in Endodontics.
Dr. Joanne Khoury, DDS, CES
Digital Dentistry
Dr. Joanne Khoury graduated in Dentistry in 2017 from the Lebanese University and in 2020 she had a specialty degree in Endodontics from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. She joined the Samarani Clinic Team in 2018.
Dr. Nathalie Daou, DDS
General Dentistry
Dr. Nathalie Daou graduated in Dentistry in 2019 from the Lebanese University and she is undergoing her specialty in Pedodontics. She joined the Samarani Clinic Team in 2022.
Dr. Leina Srour, DDS, DESS
Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Leina Srour, graduated in Dentistry in 2000 from the Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, and in 2003 she graduated with a degree in Pedodontics from the Lebanese University. She regularly follows continuing educational activities to keep in pace with the latest trends in the field.
